On our own require, based on the comprehensive SCC body of rules and regulations from 2011, our SGU-management (Safety-Health care-Environment treating - management) was audited according to the SCC^pchecklist.

So we are among the first companies holding a SCC^P-Certification

Demolition of a brick chimney stack, 137 m height, on the site of a running pover plant.

The chimney was a brick stack, 137 m height, upper diameter 3,12 m, diamter at ground 8,83 m. Wall thickness up 0,24 m, at ground 1,29 m !!

These facts reulted in dismantling of 4000 tons of bricks. The inside the chimney erected smoke tube consisted out of ceramic masonry, mass about 250 tons.

In August 2011 the MB company for demolition got the order for demolishing a silo of 82 m height including an annexed concrete staircase. Diameter of the silo: 17m, wall thickness 0,4m.

Further development of smokestack sawing technology completed successfully

In 2003, MB Schornstein- und Betonabbruch GmbH & Co.KG developed a moveable sawing machine that can dismantle reinforced concrete towers such as smokestacks and cooling towers. This machine can handle wall thicknesses up to 45 cm.

Newly developed and patented sawing machine shortens reinforced conrete chimney by 5 metres a day

On the grounds of the BASF in Ludwigshafen a 200 metre high reinforced concrete chimney had to be reduced; the site of the chimney did not allow it to be dismantled in the usual way by blasting or chipping it off.
